Re-launching my biggest project yet
Starting next week, I’m running another live cohort of that course: Build Your First Serverless Data Engineering Project.
Last year, I taught this course 3 times to a total of nearly 100 students! I’ve spent the last few months making the course even better.
Class starts on April 7th.
And it's not too late to snag one of the final spots.
You'll learn:
1. An understanding of the major principles of Data Engineering
2. Practical knowledge of how to configure AWS services and connect them
3. A working data pipeline project you can put on your resume
In addition to these major themes, the course will also cover:
- Serverless data ingestion that's automated and scalable
- How to orchestrate data engineering ETL workflows
- Transforming data with SQL and Python
- Connecting data to visualization tools
- Scheduling data pipelines
- Data quality checks
Plus, you'll get hands on experience with technologies like AWS Lambda, Kinesis, Glue, S3, and Athena. Check out the picture below for an architecture diagram of what you'll build!
Bonus:
There will be a unit entirely devoted to how to showcase your project on GitHub, on your resume, and in job interviews. I'm also including a bonus unit teaching all the best SQL techniques I use on the job as a Data Engineer.
